So we transferred here about a month ago after having a terrible experience with a Dr. At Texas childrens pediatrics. The staff have been super friendly and they get us in quickly if Stella needs to be seen for some reason. And I feel like I have to mention the artwork in this office. There’s a stunning hand-painted underwater ocean scene plus a bunch of artwork created by local artist. We love the vibe , the people and the top-notch care they give.

He is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and always straight to the point—which I truly appreciate in a world full of sugarcoating. Every visit, I leave feeling heard, understood, and reassured. He doesn’t just go through the motions; he takes the time to explain things and gives realistic advice that actually helps. I’ve seen some negative reviews and honestly, it’s sad. Everyone has their own experience, but from day one, Dr. Barrera has been professional, kind, and clear. That kind of care and directness is something that’s so needed in pediatric care today. I trust him fully with my kids’ health and always will.

We love River Ridge Pediatrics! My son is now 2 and has seen Mrs. Rachel for every well check since birth, she is fantastic! We have worked with almost every member of the team for sick visits and always find it easy to schedule a last minute visit. We’ve worked with Dr Gipson a lot and she always takes the time to hear any of our concerns and explain what’s going on/how to treat. We always feel relieved after being seen and can’t imagine going through that first year of life and daycare without this group of physicians helping guide us!
